Join us on 24th and 25th October at 2.30pm and 6.30pm at Cinema in the Arches, Battersea, for four of our short film programmes from selected filmmakers who submitted to LBFF 2024 and are in competition. Come and see who you would choose to win in our different UK and international categories, and who should get honourable mentions.

Join us for a day of events, panels and networking with an Industry Pass that begins with breakfast, ends with a drinks reception, has a live pitching event and an exciting line-up of industry professionals on these panels: Writing & Directing for the Screen, Funding Your Film and Meet the Distributors.

Immersive Experience
SPATIAL STORYTELLING is a FREE immersive show, from 12pm until 6pm on 23rd and 24th October, that expands the potential of narrative space – to include virtual reality headsets and interactive media – highlighting how RCA students push at the boundaries of what form a story can take using the latest digital media technologies. NO BOOKING REQUIRED

Children & Youth Showcase
Come and enjoy this selection of short fictions and animations from our youngest filmmakers who submitted their films in the Under 13 and 13 to 18 categories. Prepare to be delighted, thrilled, amused and entertained by this eclectic selection that surely denotes the film industry has bright new stars beginning to shine through. Content warning: some shorts contain swearing, blood imagery and violence and may be unsuitable for under 12s.

As part of IMPACT Day for LBFF 2024, we are in the historic Warner Bros. screening room at All Is Joy in Soho, with a programme of short films (some in competition) and a panel discussion that offer a dynamic mix of drama, comedy, documentary, animation offering the power of storytelling to shift people’s perceptions of climate change. You can buy this programme individually or join us for the day at All Is Joy Studios and see all three shorts programmes including Brave Heart’s and Around the Globe.

The Breeze Online Pass is already available for advance purchase and the online cinema will go live at 00:01am on 23 October. All the shorts, feature films and documentaries included in the online programme will be available to watch – as many times as you wish – throughout the festival and beyond (23 October – 4 November 2024).
