TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Last updated: October 2026
These terms explain the rules for using the London Breeze Film Festival website at londonbreezefilmfestival.com (our ‘website’) and for buying and using Breeze Online passes. Please read them carefully. By using our website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use our website.
Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.
1. WHO WE ARE AND HOW TO CONTACT US
Our website is operated by Breeze Film CIC, trading as London Breeze Film Festival (‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our’). Breeze Film CIC is a community interest company limited by guarantee, registered in England and Wales with company number 16088915.
You can contact us by email at info@londonbreezefilmfestival.com. If we need to contact you, we will do so by email or using any other contact details you have given us.
2. OTHER TERMS THAT MAY APPLY
3. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the law or in how we run the festival. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed, so please check it each time you use our website. If you have bought a Breeze Online pass, the terms in force when you bought it apply to that purchase.
4. USING OUR WEBSITE
Our website is free to use. We do not guarantee that it, or any content on it, will always be available or uninterrupted, and we may suspend, withdraw or restrict all or part of it for business or operational reasons.
We update our website regularly, but festival information such as films, dates, times, venues and guests can change. Please check the event listing, or the website of the venue or ticket seller, before you travel.
You may view, download and print pages from our website for your own personal use and to share information about the festival. You must not use any part of our website’s content for commercial purposes without our permission.
When using our website, you must not:
Introducing viruses or other harmful material, or attacking our website, may be a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. We may report any such behaviour to the relevant authorities and will cooperate with them.
We do not guarantee that our website will be secure or free from bugs or viruses. You are responsible for protecting your own devices, for example with up-to-date antivirus software.
5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
We own, or have permission to use, the content on our website, including its text, images, design, and the London Breeze Film Festival name and logos. Films, trailers, stills and other material supplied by filmmakers and partners belong to their owners and appear with their permission.
Please do not copy, reuse or adapt any of this material, or use our name or logos, without permission from us or the relevant rights holder. If you would like to use any of our content, please email us.
6. LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES
Our website links to other websites, including venue booking pages, Eventbrite and FilmFreeway. These links are for your information only. We have no control over those websites and are not responsible for their content, availability or how they use your personal information. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.
7. FESTIVAL TICKETS AND EVENTS
Tickets for festival screenings and events are sold by the venue hosting each event, or by an event partner through a platform such as Eventbrite. The event listing on our website shows where to book. When you buy a ticket, you are buying it from that seller, and its own terms apply, including its terms on refunds, exchanges and admission. If you have a question about a ticket you have bought, please contact the seller first. We are always happy to help where we can.
We plan our programme carefully, but films, start times, running orders and guests can sometimes change, and Q&As and guest appearances are always subject to availability. If an event is cancelled or significantly changed, we will update the event listing as soon as we can. Refunds for cancelled events are handled by the seller of your ticket.
Age guidance is shown on event listings where it is available. Venues may apply their own age restrictions and may ask for ID. Each venue’s own rules apply on its premises, including its rules on admission, late entry and conduct.
We may photograph or film festival events for our records and to promote the festival. If you would prefer not to be photographed or filmed, please tell a member of the festival team. Our Privacy Policy explains how we use these images.
8. BREEZE ONLINE PASSES
Breeze Online is our online screening service. From time to time we offer passes that let you watch a selection of festival films online for a limited period.
Your account
To buy a pass, you need to create a Breeze Online account. You must be 18 or over to create an account and buy a pass. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must buy the pass for you and is responsible for how it is used. Please keep your password secure and do not share your account with anyone else. We may suspend or close an account that is used in breach of these terms.
Buying a pass
Before you buy, the pass page shows the films included, the viewing period (the dates and times when the films can be watched) and the price. Payment is taken by card through our payment provider when you buy. A pass is a one-off purchase and does not renew automatically. Our contract with you starts when we confirm your purchase by email.
Watching films
Films can only be watched during the viewing period shown on the pass page. When the viewing period ends, the films are no longer available, even if you have not watched them. To watch, you need an internet connection fast enough to stream video and an up-to-date web browser. If a film can only be watched in certain countries, we will say so on the pass page.
Your pass is for your own personal, private viewing. You must not share your login, show the films in public or to a paying audience, or download, record, copy or redistribute any film.
Your right to cancel
As a consumer, you normally have the legal right to cancel an online purchase within 14 days. For digital content such as a Breeze Online pass, that right ends once we start making the films available to you, as long as, when you bought the pass, you agreed to get access straight away and acknowledged that you would lose your right to cancel.
If you buy a pass before its viewing period starts, you can cancel within 14 days of buying it, as long as the viewing period has not yet started. To cancel, email us with your name and the email address you used to buy the pass. We will refund you in full within 14 days, using the payment method you used.
If something goes wrong
Your pass must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If a film does not play properly because of a problem on our side, please email us. We will try to fix it, and if we cannot fix it within a reasonable time, or without significant inconvenience to you, you may be entitled to a partial or full refund.
Occasionally we may have to replace or withdraw a film, for example if its rights holder asks us to. If this happens, we will tell you, and if it significantly affects your pass, we will offer you a partial or full refund.
If digital content we supply damages a device or other digital content belonging to you, we will either repair the damage or pay you compensation, unless the damage was caused by you not following our instructions.
These commitments are in addition to your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
9. OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO YOU
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or our failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it is obvious that it will happen, or if, at the time you used our website or bought from us, both we and you knew it might happen.
Our website and Breeze Online are for domestic and private use. If you use them for any business purpose, we have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.
The information on our website is for general information only. We try to keep it accurate and up to date, but we cannot promise that it always is.
10. EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as a major internet or power outage, severe weather, industrial action, or a failure by a third-party provider that we could not reasonably avoid. If this affects a Breeze Online pass you have bought, we will contact you as soon as we can. If we cannot provide what you paid for, you can cancel and we will refund you for anything you paid for but did not receive.
11. COMPLAINTS AND DISPUTES
If you have a complaint, please email us at info@londonbreezefilmfestival.com and we will try to resolve it quickly.
