In a crumbling council flat, Doug (David Sterne) spends his days with Sky Sports, egg-custard tarts and teasing his favourite carer, Kate (Katy Trevor). But tonight, nothing goes to plan. Kate’s late, her toothache is flaring, and Doug seems strangely evasive. As she rushes through her tightly rationed 15 minutes, he drops unexpected news that leaves her caught between duty, concern and her own creeping burnout.
