Power of the Current follows amateur Italian para-swimmer Sofia Brizio as she wrestles with disability discrimination and her deep love for the water. Caught between two worlds, her independence in the UK and her swimming career in Italy, everything builds towards what could be her final competitive season. It’s a quiet but powerful look at staying afloat in a world that so often overlooks disabled voices.
