The Pie Den tells the story of Dennis ‘Den’ Newman as he prepares for his first pie & mash sale at the Blue Market in Bermondsey, right next to the ‘Den’ football stadium. The film explores the deep-rooted obsession many Londoners have with this iconic dish, celebrating its community significance and reminding us that it’s never too late to pursue your ambitions.
This film was funded entirely by friends, family and the Bermondsey community.
We release one new film per day – for 12 days – from 20th December 2025 onwards. Watch as many times as you like – once released, they’ll stay up until January 4th.
