But her ability to find bodies that have been deemed untraceable by the police comes with a price. Her relationship with Janette suffers, and she gets into trouble with the authorities, who struggle with the phenomenon of citizen investigation.
Mariëtte Faber is director of independent films as well as editor for documentary projects. The main focus of her films is on individuals who go against the grain. After The Man Who Wanted to Change the World (2016), Underdog is her second feature film.
