Our overarching theme for our eleventh edition film festival is ‘Courage’, inspired by this year’s Refugee Week theme. With this is mind, the programming team have curated a programme of four longer shorts – two documentaries featuring real-life heroes, and two inspiring fictional stories about overcoming fear and adversity – which embody the theme both in how the films were made and in their subject matter.
