Azaria’s larger-than-life, taxi-driving father, Paul, picks her up from a house party. Furious at the inconvenience, Paul takes the opportunity to impart his unfounded wisdom to his captive audience, encouraging her to come out of her shell and be more like him. Over the course of the night, Paul’s overconfident mask starts to slip, revealing a wounded vulnerability. Can Azaria use this as an opportunity to learn from her father’s mistakes or are some family traits unbreakable?
