In the South Australian outback lies Farina, an abandoned ghost town with a rich history. One day each year, Farina comes alive with the sounds of cricket, as people from all walks gather on a rocky oval, ensuring its legacy endures. “Ghost Town Cricket” follows regional stockmen, locals, and grey nomads who revive not just a sport, but the town’s very soul. Coinciding with a volunteer restoration project, the cricket match symbolises hope, the power of community and a determination to never be forgotten.
