It’s Michael’s last week in nursery and he still hasn’t spoken an intelligible word in class. He’s been isolated for disturbing his peers and his teacher worries that his inability to communicate in front of others will prevent him from taking part in the end of year assembly. When Lizzy- his stubborn teenaged older sister- hears of this, she refuses to believe her brother is incapable, and sets out to prove that high support needs isn’t a weakness but a door to a world beyond anyone’s understanding. Michael is more than meets the eye. We follow his heart-warming journey of self-discovery guided by the kindness, support and love of the family that help raise him.
