We were also inspired by this year’s Refugee Week theme: Courage, which became the overarching theme of this edition. The courage it takes to make a film in the first place and to tells stories that shine a light on the courage of others, has helped us make our selection from almost 800 films by emerging filmmakers from the UK and around the globe.
